Let There Be Snow!

A few weeks ago we had a nice snow.  I jumped in my car to see what I'd find.  The first three photos are taken at the center of town; a place called Ashley Pond.  There's duck and geese that stay here year round.

Statue of cranes out in the Pond

Cute little pony statue
Next stop was the Horse Stables.  If you've followed my blog for a while you know how much I love going out to the Stables.  It was fun to see how some decorated their stalls and horse trailers.
Here's a great looking barn cat.  Yes, he's at the Stables but you can tell that he's also someone's pet.  He's a happy little guy.
How I love ravens!  This guy was so puffed up -- brrr, it's cold outside!
After seeing these photos I think I'm going to go make me a cup of hot tea!

Peace,
Kay

The stable pictures were a hoot. My sister who raises horses decorates the gate to the barn. She has lights and ribbon and a wa huge wreath and a metal cactus sculpture all done in lights as well!

As usual girl, your photos as gorgeous...loved the crow puffed up!

Hello Kay, I love these photos. I'm getting a totally different idea of New Mexico. You must live in a very high altitude. So how cold do your winter's get and how long does your cold season last? Also, how hot are your summers? Who knows someday after Steve retires we might do a little traveling :)
You are very welcome for the package. I hope you like it.
I would love to see what you do with a dragonfly in your journaling pages (or wouldn't it make a great greeting card). Be sure and post . . . I want to see your creation. I have another group of pages where I used the same idea, only with circles. I'll be posting it later this month.
Have a marvelous day,
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

OMGosh - fabby photos Kay!!

Right, first off, selling and buying houses is always a game of nerves.

Second, if things don't pan out do hop on a plane - Jan would be more than happy to have you to stay whilst I'm at the reunion and you could do the crop which I'm sooo disappointed about- such huge fun!

Then come and spend time with us and we can mooch around the local area as well as travel a bit - how about a day trip to Paris for example....you can see so much even in a single day doing it by Eurostar or staying a night or two -only sayin' :))

Lots of thoughts to mull over!

Big hugs and keep your chin up!!

Di xx

These photos are awesome. I'm like Sandee. You got a LOT more snow than I got. I was shocked when I saw all that snow coming from your area.

I loved the photo of the cat. Bleubeard has one of those heart ID tags, too, but his is blue, or once was before all the blue wore off.

I apologize for not stopping by sooner. I can't believe all the headaches Blogger has handed me lately. I couldn't even log onto Blogger for several days until last night.

BTW, you asked about seeing all of my kitchen after the remodel. Well, I took some photos back in May, dug them out and posted them on my blog last Sunday:

Love the decorated stables and horse boxes! And all that snow, do you still have it? We're in a thaw cycle unfortunately, hopefully it'll get cold again in a while. Loved Di's comment, don't buy another house, put your money in the bank and have some fun! You'll be homeless but happy!!!
