WOYWW 133

Woo hoo, my second post on WOYWW!!  This is a blog hop hosted by Julia over at Stamping Ground.  Crafters open up their work desks for the world to see.  If you want to get inspired check it out!
Looking out my window where I do my thing
This week I'm sharing an ornament I made from the 12 Artsy Ornaments workshop.  This class was taught by Junelle from Yes and Amen.  I painted four 2 x 2 canvases and two maybe 2 x 3 canvases.

I wanted to take Junelle's idea and make it my own.  Aha, what about personalized ornaments?  Yes!!  I use Junelle's sketches as a base and go from there.  I got out my alpha stamps and stamped my friends' name on a piece of paper and put it at the base of the girl.  I just love how she came out.  But first -- take a look at the work in progress.
Waiting for my little canvases to dry
I also cut out more hearts to watercolor
Tulip supervising
Stephanie is coming to form -- oh drats, I just saw that I spelled her name wrong....
I wonder if she'd notice......
Isn't she too cute!
For my friend Alyce - and yes, that is how she spells her name!!
Here's a photo of the neck wrap that I was working on last week.  It came out quite nicely.  If I had my act together I'd get busy and put items for sale in my etsy shop.
That's a knitting needle holding it closed.  Any pin would work.
Thanks for visiting.  I hope you've had fun taking a peek into my little piece of cyber world!!

Tulip is so good sitting there. Love the idea of the little canvas name plaques. My favourite is the one for Alyce but then I am rather partial to butterflies. The wrap turned out cute too. Glad you said it was a knitting needle holding it together!!!
Had visions of somebody stabbing themselves every time they wore it. Have a lovely Christmas and wishing you a very Crafty New Year. Hugs Mrs & The Monkeys.

What a selection of fab things on your blog this week! But the prize for the most fabulous must go to Tulip, your feathered friend - she is so pretty! What sort of bird is she? And isn't she being good, just sitting there!
Hope you have the most wonderful Christmas,
Hugs, LLJ #43 xx

Woohoo! wow do I ever love that first shot makes me freezing cold to look at it - yes have lived in snow country well kind a snow country it is on Northern Tablelands of NSW and when i was six years old it was cold - and for us very cold we had a snowman that did not melt for week and heaps of snow fights etc, but then of course the sun warms up and it gets above freezing and it all goes to slush and mush and then ices up and all that - so think you can have the cold, dear whimsy girl! I do love Oz!

But it is great to have you at WOYWW again - that is where I first met in the interim we are now officially blogging buddies and love that! Huh tried to find your email and know it was on your profile when looked yesterday but id not have the deets then. I have found where I bought my watermarks from and here is the link i bought them from Karen Giron on her website link is:
http://kgiron.blogspot.com/2009/07/adding-watermark-using-gimp.html

and I use Gimp to add it as she says...have a word doc which is clearer than that if you need it which my very clever friend - her blog is http://instead-of-ironing.blogspot.com/
Happy WOYWW! and thanks for being a blessing to me through 2011.
All the blessings of the season as we celebrate the birth of the dear Lord Jesus and the greatest gift of all, love Shaz in oz. x #20

How cute is Tulip!
I have a little helper in the form of BoJangles who often sits on the windowsill to supervise or even on the table if he gets his own way, Lol!
Love the little canvasses but how annoying to get them finished and then find a mistake in the name. Hope you can put it right without too much altering.

Wishing you a very Happy Christmas.

Really enjoyed taking a peek at your little crafting corner and LoVe your decorations ... what lucky recipients!!! Am a *S*N*O*W* freak but have yet to see more than a brief flurry here in England yet ... this time last year we had icicles that were three feet long and deep, deep *S*N*O*W* so it is all very disappointing. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! Love Debbie xXx
