WOYWW 176 -- Holy Moly!

I'd like to welcome my newest followers.  I always wondered how people knew the names of their latest followers - and then I found out.... you just click on the photo!  Now, how simple is that!!  I feel as though I should list each and every one of you but that would be a post in itself.  So, a special shout out to several of my newest followers:  Marion, Lisa, Lucy, Terry, Neesie, Rexann, Minxy, Daniella, Belinda, April and Toni.  Thank you for becoming part of my blog family!!!!!

Can you believe it's the middle of October - already!  Today is the day to do some blog hopping, starting at Julia's over at Stamping Ground.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, get ready.  You're in for some fun.  If you've arrived here from Julia's you know what this is all about.  If not, click on the red text above.  Desks from around the world are revealed - along with some wonderful creative projects!

My desk - well, no real projects on it at the moment.  I put some of my knitting on my semi-clean workdesk so I can get busy  and start pricing items.  I have a feeling that I'll have to do a dry-run booth set up in my living room before the Craft Fair, which is November 3.  If you'll be in the Los Alamos area it is being held at the Crossroads Bible Church.  I'm unsure of the hours (maybe 9:00ish to something-er-other).  Yep, need to be more detail oriented.......
Neck wrap, coasters, spa cloths
See those round things - they're bracelets.  I'm going to post a tutorial on how I make them (hopefully this weekend).  You are going to be surprised by the materials......
Business card bowl
I made this bowl over the weekend.  I got the idea from pinterest.  You can read that post here.  I need to find more of those cute little candlesticks!  I'm finding that I'm re-purposing things and I love it.

As always, I will visit those that visit me (please leave your number) and those that end in the same number as me.  After that then I'll visit as many others as I can.  But be warned, it may not be until Friday that I get to make the rounds!

Peace,
Kay

I hope the show is busy with shoppers and you sell lots of your wonderful wares. I think that is a good date for the show. I like to go to the craft fairs in early November and it always seems that people are buying!!! Their minds are on Xmas presents!

I will watch for the post about the bracelets!

Sounds like the craft fair is keeping you busy and out of trouble. Productive too. Love the new bowl you made for the business cards. I think I am going to go junk store and second hand store hopping this week. Maybe I will even hit a few garage sales. Love to do that! Wish I could make it to Los Alamos but it would be quite a drive from here. Have a great week. Vickie #71

Hi Kay, Holy Moly indeed - the days are just slipping and sliding away! Those knitting needles of yours have been working overtime judging by the piles I see on your desk. Great idea for the business card bowl Kay. I have a particular fondness for old china at the moment. I bought a very cute teacup and saucer on a metal rod that makes a whimsical bird feeder recently. It is amazing what you can do with a bit of imagination and strong glue!! Have a great week WOYWW Hugs from Helen 77

Looking at my desk and seeing I have my tea mug sitting on a knitted face cloth I just thought that I should make some coasters..... and then I clicked on your blog and what do you have?? Coasters!!! Love the little bowl with your cards in, great idea. Definitely try socks, they're great fun.

Love all your products. I zoomed right into the bracelets. I will have to check the link. Oh wow, the business card bowl you made is really pretty. Nice touch.

Can't wait to see your bracelet tutorial! Oh, how I love seeing a desk full of knitting--it warms my heart! I need to make some spa cloths too. Now, I want you to know, I'm a simple knitter too. That's why the butterfly scarf amazes me--it's just knitting the garter stitch over and over. The only trick is, you do some short rows--just turning it back around. It's the easiest thing, and it looks really complicated! (that's why I always show it, so everyone will think I'm a fancy knitter) Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #11

Hi there!
Great things for the craft fair - hope you do really well! I find that I can never predict what's going to sell, it's always surprising!
I have to 'fess up about the lyrics, I googled them because I wanted something special about Friendship and up that popped. It's by a band called No Secrets, I think..but the words were just awesome and fitted the bill perfectly :)

Thanks for your comment on my blog - I don't have a lot of space in my craft room either but the really fun thing about digi stamps, as well as the storage issue, is that it's instant gratification stash shopping! :D
