Arts and Crafts Fair

Hello peeps.  Halloween has come and gone - and not one ghoul or goblin stopped by!  Drats.  At least I bought the mini Snickers and oh, how I LOVE those!

Today I went to an Arts and Crafts Fair.  It's the one I did last year that totally wiped me out and I wasn't even going to try to do it this year.  There were some of the usual vendors along with some new ones.  I met up with some great creative friends and made some new ones.
My favorite soap is the India Spice.  It smelled so great.  She's a regular at the Craft Fair.  The name of her company is Earthgift Herbals and her website is www.earthgift.com.

Next up is Andrea.  She and her daughters are the "3 Eclectic Divas."  They have a fun assortment of jewelry, photography and accessories.

I met Lori at the Craft Fair this year.  She and her husband have a gallery in Santa Fe called Steven Boone Gallery.  You can visit them at Steven Boone Gallery.  She has a combination of jewelry and some great little oil paintings.  I love the rooster.

Someone else I met this year is Monika Kaden.  She's such a lovely person and exudes warmth and friendship.
Here she is with one of her necklaces.  They replicate the "Dancing Saint Francis on Water" statue at the Saint Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  She also makes beautiful pottery.

And finally, my knitting buddy Stephanie.  I just love this lady.  She's my go to queen of all things knitting.  She sells finished items, along with yarns, some that she dyes herself!

I had such a wonderful time.  I love the see what others are creating.  It helps feed my creative soul.

Peace,
Kay

Hi Kay

Oh, you just made me feel homesick for Santa Fe :( The Dancing St Francis is one of my favourite statues we saw whilst in SF although we also came across a smallish garden near the Inn where we stayed with some lovely statues in too - I wonder if you've been there? There's a donkey with panniers, a crouching hunter and quite a few others. I'd need to check my photos.

The craft fayre looks amazing Kay - I do so wish I could have been there too.

Hugs, Di xx

I love craft fairs but for one reason or another I have been missing them here. There is always something else "more important" going on. I love all that colorful yarn your friend has. I think I'll have to take a closer look.

I used to love to go to craft fairs. I haven't done it in a long time. There certainly is a lot of creativity out there.

Hi Kay
Me again...i want it to scan, print digis, and print photos.

Cannon Pixma comes up over and over on Two Peas message board and just for printing photos the Selphy. I do not know which models though so I have not been able to go look at the Pixmas. If you kind out anything, let me know we have two printer less than 6 months old but they both have bad reviews at coping with Windows 8.
I will keep you posted about what I find out.

Hey Kay that craft fair looked like you had a fun time the last one I went to was very commercial not what I was hoping for.

That Paper with the type on it is recollections but if you can rip out pages from a book go for it.

Oh I can see you had a fun time. I love the soap vendors too, because I like nice-smelling 'things'. My favorite would be anything Lemon-Verbena or a nice lavender. All the other places looked very interesting to browse around in as well. Glad you had a chance to get out & enjoy some good crafting fellowship. Hope things are going very well for you. TFS & hugs

Oh what a great post Kay...I'd have loved to have visited the craft fair too.
But where's a photo of you and your stall?
I agree with you...it's great to meet like minded crafty creative people.
Maybe that's what I should do because I seem to have lost my creative flow just now. But with all that's going on I suppose it's not surprising. I just hope it comes back soon :(
Have a great week and thanks for popping over to my place earlier.
Hugs to you xoxo

What a nice selection of crafty items and artists. Looks like a doable craft fair as far walking around. Our craft fair has hundreds of venders and thousands of peeps show up each day....you can hardly walk let alone look at the vender booths. Hugs
