WOYWW 171

I've had such an exciting time since last Wednesday.  I've met a blog buddy - in person!  Can you believe that Di from Pixie's Crafty Workshop is here in New Mexico!!  In Santa Fe, which is about 35 miles from where I live.  We met on Friday for the first time.   We are like two peas in a pod.  Although it's been brought to my attention that I say "Hmm" alot - with different tones for different meanings!

It's another week gone, Wednesday here again.  It all starts at Julia's at Stamping Ground.  Here's my desk this week.  I've put away the paints and bird houses.  On my desk are the goodies from the shopping spree with Di.
white picket fence, Christmas papers, brushes,
embossing folder, sympathy stamp, TH die
bag of ribbon, findings,  beading magazine
Lily of the Valley Christmas stamp set
Thank you Di!!!
I must apologize as I didn't get around to as many desks and I'd like last week.  I will try to do better this week.   Please leave your number with your comment so I can pop in on you.

Peace,
Kay

Just wanted to say once more: I'm so happy you & Di got to meet. Loved the fabulous necklace too.So lovely & so unique. You are much braver than I, with the desk share. I wouldn't DARE at this point. Took a trip to local Mike's today, got some storage stuff 50% (thanks to Candee http://cardcornerbycandee.blogspot.com/). Our store doesn't always have same as hers in a neighboring state. But - today they did. I might get inspired to photo what was bought! Now to find time to put together and figure out where to place!!! Hugs.

Hi again just read your comment on my journal post, yes that is a stamp it's from the Stampsmith range of photo realistic stamps they do. I stamped it on smooth coated paper so it really does look like a photo. There is quite a knack to stamping with them, i've managed to disguise the splodgy bits with some strategic distressing !

Great gobs of goodness on your desk this week. That was a great shopping spree. If the pad of paper goes missing, well, I'm just telling you now that I had nothing to do with it! Nope not me! Love the LOTV stamps! They are very elegant. You'll get a lot of mileage out of them.

Not much on sale this week but I've still been in almost every day! lol Well, yeah for all your new goodies and I hope you have lots of fun creating with them. And that was really nice for you to be able to get together with a fellow blogger! The internet can be so wonderful, huh? I've met some of the nicest people, you for instance, on it! :)
Thanks for making it to my blog already and leaving a commiseration on that first cut into pretty new paper. Its so hard to do! lol :)
