Ace Ventura and Raven. She was lucky enough to get adopted! |
She already loves her little dog |
Another happy adoption! |
Please, if you are interested in adding a pet to your family, look at the local shelters. There are so many animals out there that are just waiting to be found by their forever families.
There is nothing like a day with a little dog slobber!
Peace,
Kay

That is wonderful that so many dogs were adopted!
awwwww, so cute and I am so happy for the ones that got adopted and feel so bad for the ones that didn't. That job would break my heart and I'd be trying to sneak them all home with me! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
Aw, how super Kay. Ha, good job we weren't there with you - that sure would have been some excess baggage to ship back here.
Super piccies too.
Hugs, Di xx
Hi Kay! That so exciting that those precious creatures got new homes!! And God bless you for volunteering. It breaks my heart to see animals that don't have homes, I have such trouble turning them away when they come to me! (So, I usually don't!) I now have a male stray in the back yard who is finding food and shelter. :-)
And, yes, I work in a junkyard!! Long story, but it's where the Lord has me right now!! Not so bad. :-)
And thanks for the congrats!! Kinda exciting!
Hope you and yours are well!
Hugs, Margo
Tee hee! lets ask May to get a lotto ticket for us two! well done on the volunteering We have thought about having a dog but not while we are both working, so maybe we'll be visiting the rescue centre in a couple of years time. We do have an adopted tortoise though who we are both very fond of x
Cute dogs and I'd say that was successful too. The Boss is a rescued cat - we got her from a local cat's shelter and we had to be vetted before they would let us have her too, not to mention pay a fee - to show that we were serious about having her - it was money well spent as she has proved to be a lovely pet.
Thanks for popping over earlier and leaving a comment. Elizabeth xx
My dog adopted me! She had a home of her own, but every time they went out, she would find a way through the hedge and come to my studio, I put up notices about her and the owner came to say I could keep her if I could keep her in! The is a Houdini of NOTE, but 11 years on and I still have her!
What a lovely thing to do! It must have been a wonderful day xx
I'm not a dog person but I second, third, and fourth your suggestion to adopt a shelter animal. My kitties are all rescues. Jack has the best story though; he came to Tucson in the back of a U Haul from Florida (where he was born a poor black cat on the wrong side of the tracks). You do good work helping out the shelters!!!
