Day of the Dead

Am I morbid?  Is it normal?  I love Day of the Dead.  The bright colors, the white bones, flowers and large hats.  Men playing instruments.
These photos were taken at Tesuque Market.  A tiny little market and restaurant in Tesuque, New Mexico, located right outside of Santa Fe.
Peace,
Kay

I don't think you are morbid at all! Did I tell you my father was US Navy and we moved to Albuquerque in 1959 and lived on Sandia Base for several months then moved to Kirtland AFB. Don't know if they are even still there! Anyhow I lived there during formative years and I grew up loving color, cultures, and lifestyles of the NM Indians and NM Mexicans. They definitely know how to have fun! Vickie

Did you ever watch the film Frida about the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo starring Selma Hyaak. I think it would be right up your street.
