I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at what I worked on this past weekend.
Artist Trading Cards (ATC)
I'm lovin' them.
Tiny works of art.
Do you notice something funky?
I didn't notice it until I was done.....
The background text is upside down!
Who said life is perfect?!?
Peace,
Kay

Lovely cards Kay. I think the upside down text adds character to it. If you email me your address I will put one of my ATC's in the post to.
Raining here in the UK this morning. Not to worry there's always plenty to do.
Enjoy Easter.

The text and silhouette are absolutely stunning in the first ATC. I agree, the upside down text gives it a bit more character.
If you hadn't said, I probably wouldn't have noticed the upside down text! We can't all be perfect all the time! This makes it yours!
Great little pieces of art Kay and lovely colours. Who says you have to stamp text up the right way?
Have a good week.
hugs {brenda} xox
Lovely little works of art - the upside down text makes it extra special! xx
Oh these are the sweetest little things. I have made a handful of ATS's...thanks for the reminder to get back at them!!!
Love,
Leslie
I like these...the bird card is my favorite! (Maybe because it's not perfect, like me!)
Hugs, Margo
I love them, esp. that top one! Very artsy and fun!
Love the top one, great pink color!
awesome ATC Kay! Wanna do a swap?
Your ATCs are fabulous! Sorry to hear about your loss - I hope your heart is healing.
LOL... I did the same thing with a stamp the other day... I am pretending that it is a new idea... ;)
In answer to your question... we are going home to Scotland. We work all over the year normally for two years at a time... but I only had a couple of weeks between Saudi and Canada... so this is long overdue for a stay of a couple of months at least!!
Great ATCs Kay - I don't see any problem at all with the first one. I do my yoga whilst blogging ;)
Love, Di xx
Love the first one, Use to run an ATC swap, but came to a grinding halt. Do have a trillion of them! ((Lyn))
ohoo sorry love the second one too!!
(((Lyn)))
I like both of those ATC's, so different in style. thank you for visiting today and your good wishes for Flash. He is actually on Metacam, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, just a ten day course. We also give him Glucosamin & condroitin, garlic & fenugreek, and cold liver oil to lubricate joints and aid recovery. When our dogs go outside in the wet, we always ensure that they are completely dried off and warm afterwards. I think he just wrenched something on one of his mad races round, soft tissue injury. Anyway, he is back to normal now. Have a good week. xx Maggie #9
Oh but the text was meant to be upside down, right? More artistic that way! I like you breakfast casserole in the earlier post, I'm a breakfast person too! SC is beautiful, we go to the Charleston area, such a fab combination of relaxing and history, if you look back in my blog archives from April or early May of last year you can see some pictures.
Hugs
Brenda
I miss you! Haven't seen you around too much and no WOYWW post, so I thought I'd better come check on you and make sure your doing OK! (((hugs))) #44 and waving hi from the spring laden hills of North Carolina :)
Gorgeous cards Kay, I especially love the bird one at the top, although they are both pretty.
Have a lovely Easter, Take care, Karen xx
Great ATCs, I like the contrast between them, showing your different sides. I wouldn't have noticed the background text being upside down if you hadn't told us. I need to work on some ATCs too. The themes keep eluding me but after much thought I remembered... Home or Paris. Hmmm....
Lovely ATCs. I only recently started on ATCs and love them!
I hadn't noticed the text thing but doesn't TH say "embrace imperfection"!!
If you fancy doing the class, if you go on one of my earlier posts of the tags I have put the link on. The classes are staying for life so you can keep looking back again and again! Go on. You know you want to!!
