WOYWW 271 - Getting Inky and Organized!?!

Hello dear friends.  Happy Wednesday.   It's the day we meet up at Julia's place, at Stamping Ground.  This is the day that desks are shared from around the world.

Can you believe I'm getting inky?  Check out my previous post on how I dove into the Art Journaling world.  I took a class with Dyan Reaveley.  It was very intense but a lot of fun.

A background I started in Dyan's class.
Flower we made using one of her stamp sets.
Playing with my camera - this is the flower we made.
Same flower close up.
I found the wire rack at the thrift store and spray painted it white.  I'm happy with how it turned out.  That's a paper towel holder that I have my washi tape on; a letter K that I need to work on, a huge mug full of colored pencils and a few of Dyan's Dylusions Sprays.
Bookshelf to the right of my desk.

As always, I will visit those that end in the same number as me and those that visit me (please leave your number).  It may not be until Saturday that I'm able to get around to everyone, but I will do my best.

Here's a question for google bloggers.  I scheduled several posts and they didn't publish when I set them to.  So, I published one on Monday and when it went "live" it said Saturday - the day I set it to publish.  Can anyone shed some light?

Peace,
Kay

Go into your. Log settings and check out if its set to your time zone. I made this mistake at first and had to reset it to GMT. This may not solve your problem but it's the first thing Is check.
LOVE that flower you made at the Mad Ladies Class! Gorgeous colours, my favourite...you need to make more of those definitely!
Lovely to see you back, btw :-) yay xx

Hi Kay, I agree with Jan, this happened to me when I first started blogging and I couldn't understand why my posts had not appeared and it was the time Zone.

I have to say I've always admired Dyan's style - her pages are fab. Lucky you to get to a workshop. Looks like you had a blast :) I need to look again at the washi tape - mine is in a jumble in a drawer and it is just not working for me - cause WOYWW is great for organizational ideas. :)

Happy WOYWW! a little late

I would check to make sure you are in the correct time zone, it's in your settings. Apart from that blogger is a bugger, I do think I mentioned this on my post it has been giving me trouble for awhile. I love your flowers you need to make heaps of them and get more inky. Great shots f your space thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.

I wasn't able to join in, but I enjoyed your post, Kay. Good for you for getting inky; you have so much talent!! I love the idea of the paper towel holder for the washi and good find on the wire baskets!

Re the scheduling issue, besides the time zone suggestion, were you actually hitting "publish" after you set the date and time to go live? I wasn't doing that and a friend told me I had to, even though it made me extremely nervous doing it! I was just sure it would publish immediately, but sure enough it didn't!

You can check to make sure it worked by going into your "posts" (on the page you get when you click design in the upper right corner of your home page). You will see it in the list and next to it will be the word "scheduled," rather that the word "draft."

Sorry if you already knew all that!! Hugs, Darnell

I noticed that Blogger is acting oddly too. I thought it was just that I forgot how to schedule lol. Love that background, I'm going to have to try it. I'm actually making the iron filing cards for adults, they are really calming. I call them analog fun : D. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier in the week. #4
