I'm having so much fun making my she art canvases.
Finally, I'm playing with mixed media.
I'm no longer afraid.
I'm a brave girl.
Love her pigtails! |
The stars are slightly raised for a little dimension. I added red glitter to her too.
I will play around with my camera to see if I can get a better photo.
I thought of my Tulip when I added the bird to her dress |
The dots are actually brown and a burnt red color. |
For those among you that are observant, you may have noticed when I first chose my word for 2012 I spelled blossom wrong. I just knew it didn't look right but didn't figure it out until a few weeks ago!
I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.
Peace,
Kay

I love it! I also love your word "Blossom". Look at you blossoming all over your bloggidy blog! Mixed media is so wonderful, you get all goopy and playful. You are an inspiration! I wish I would have met up with you in NM, you are so fun.
Oh these are so cute. She Art really got me out of my shell and I have learned so much. It gives me JOY to create these!!!!
I'm dying to make one of these but I just don't know where to start!

Lovely work. Talented. Thanks for your clarification on seed stitch. I have used it before nut didn't know it was called that. Plus never used it in that scale. Will have a go. Thanks cx
These are beautiful Kay! Love the pigtails. Love the sweet bird on her dress! :)
Amazing colours and backgrounds. You have definitely found your own she-art style Kay and it is fabulous.
