I've had lots of fun happening this past week. I was off Wednesday and had a nice day about town. I found some great finds at the thrift store (will share soon).

Only twenty three more workdays left! I can't believe it. I've worked all my life, before I even had a driver's license! To say I'm excited and nervous is an understatement! Yep, life is good.
Here's a funny:
I'm hoping to have a semi productive weekend. I really need to get into my craft room and organize!
Have a great weekend.

Hi Kay, I love that you are on count-down mode and looking forward to not working. It is an adjustment, there were time that I wished that I was still working. The trick is to stay busy doing the things that you love. People that just stop and sit don't last long and don't enjoy life. I know that you are not one of those. More time to play with your dogs, to work on your arts and crafts, to enjoy your new home and garden, to travel and to enjoy friends and family. Wisteria that doesn't bloom is a very common problem, there are is a lot of information on line about it. Maybe you'll find the trick to turns yours into a blooming beauty:)
I'm so excited for you and your retirement, I know that you are going to make the most of it and have fun! It's a great time to try something new, something that you have always wanted to try . . . buy a kayak, take line-dancing lessons, join a hiking group . . . the world is your oyster. ENJOY!!!
You know you're ready to retire when you get names wrong too 😂😂😂😂 my little Grandson is called Theo....Neet made the same mistake and I'm guessing that's where you got it from. I'm getting excited for you Kay.....20 days will pass so quickly now and then life will be your oyster. You will be free to go and do as you please....enjoy every minute.
Hugs,
Annie x
Hi Kay, you are so going to enjoy your retirement. I was like you, worked all my adult life and then took early retirement and haven't looked back though sometimes I would like a rest Lol! The new house looks lovely and soon you will have more time to enjoy it. Have a great weekend. Sending hugs, Angela xXx
I'm so glad you are looking forward to your retirement. (I find it sad when people are not).
Your porch looks lovely. I love wisteria. I know it likes a sunny spot. Perhaps you need to 'feed' it too (Phosphorus). The other thing is pruning. That always helps. I'm sure you could find out on the internet how to prune it. Be merciless!
Your treats on your day out look yummy.
Not long now....(23 days will fly by)
Have a good week,
keep smiling,
Lisca
I was so ready for retirement and have adapted quite well. I find I stay busy and have lots of opportunities with taking care of my lawn and all the outside work that has to happen around here. I still love my crafting so my hands and mind are always staying busy! Good luck and I hope you love it as much as I do!
I am sure you will find plenty to keep you busy after retirement, and you have such a lovely home to enjoy. I had wisteria at my last house in UK and I loved its pretty flowers, so I hope your's blooms for you soon. Kate x
