I managed to get my rug turned around so the bottom drawers on my desk open up. Yay! I just had to move everything off the floor to do it. Still slowly putting things away.
I took another class at Guadalupe Rubber Stamp Store. It was using stamping pads (not permanent) and markers to create a beginnings of a card. I did a little masking, which I hadn't done a lot of before.
Can you tell it's a "she?" I added a bit of pink to her cheeks! I'll go back in and add something to the red plants.
A cute little raccoon peeking around a planter. Again, I need to add something to this one too. The instructor started rushing us a half hour before the class was to end. Wasn't happy about that as it was added pressure! I hadn't done anything inky in a while and I didn't need to deal with THAT!
As always, I will visit those that end in the same number as me and those that leave a comment (please leave your number). There was someone last week where I couldn't leave a comment - sorry, can't remember who it was.
Happy WOYWW
Peace,
Kay

Hi Kay. Yes I could tell she was a girl....it was the pink bow in her hair that gave it away hehehe
Have a good week.

This is so cute! Well done you!
Your cards are very cute . . . I don't like to be rushed either . . . it totally takes the pleasure out of being creative. One of the best parts of any creative venture is the relaxation the process brings. Some people know how to do things well, but shouldn't try teaching. Happy you have your rug where you want it, but sorry that you had to move everything. That sort of thing happens to me all the time. To move one thing and rearrange, you have to move many . . . we can call it exercise, I guess, LOL.
Have a wonderful day, Kay!
Connie :)
These look fantastic Kay being rushed doesn't make you want feel good but it happens in classes sucks when your paying for them have a wonderful week hugs Nikki didn't play this week
It had to be a girl she's so pretty

I've emailed the pattern to you x
Hi Kay, I can understand you not being happy about being rushed- definitely not what you want in a class. The masking looks to have come out well though.
The picture you like on my header is on our Wedding Day, when we were saying our vows in front of the Registrar. It's one of my favourites too. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XXX
Your cards are so sweet. I hate being rushed too and always allow plenty of time in my classes so that my attendees never feel under pressure. They've paid to come and learn something, but I want them to enjoy the experience. Thanks for your kind words on my cards earlier.

that looks a great class! yes, the journal page is the black one - I just covered most of it in white to add the layers to. Helen #1
So cute!! We stopped at the Guadalupe stamp store when we were visiting Santa Fe last year - a great shop!
WOYWW#3 Melissa - thanks for stopping by today
Ha, love the story of the rug...it's the same here, one job leads to about thirty others. Difference is by the time I'm finished, I can't remember why I started!! Love the little squirrels, they make a nice card.....,sorry you felt rushed at the class, I hate that...I'd rather drop a card than have to rush. But I'm also rubbish at going back in and adding finishing touches at home, so....you definitely win this one!!
Oh Kay, I hate it when they start to rush you at the end of a class, I just loose it and might as well just pack away. I've sent you an email about the flower stamp on my post but promise to show you were I am up to with it next week. Thanks for the visit to mine and have a great woyww, Angela x 18
Hi Kay. Those two pieces are lovely - so cute. I wouldn't cope very well with being rushed to do something I had never done before, either. Not good.
Take care. God bless.

Cute pieces. The masking turned out really well. Happy WOYWW Sarah #23
HI Kay, those cards are look super sweet. I love the look of watercolour on cards. I used to scan all my paintings on a very simple cannon scanner. I recently updated to a newer model and it does not do a great job. So now I go to Officeworks or Staples and they scan it for me on good quality paper for about 80cents per sheet and I got 4 images on 1 sheet. very cost effective and they also save the scanned image on a usb. Very happy with the service.

Hi Kay, I love your little critters.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Hi Kay! I know what you mean - I don't like to be rushed either! It totally defeats the purpose! Perhaps the instructor had to go somewhere else, or they didn't pay her extra, so she wanted to wrap up quick - or perhaps someone else needed the venue. In any case, I love those inky textures and you can always add to them in the comfort of your own home without being pressured. Thanks so much for visiting yesterday! Sorry I couldn't come back right away. Happy belated WOYWW! zsuzsa #21
Love the watercolouring you have done. The sky looks brilliant and I love those cheeky little animals peeking at us.
Nothing worse than feeling rushed in a class, I give up now trying to finish and just decide to do it at home later - ok if you know what you are doing but if it involves a new technique it is not so good.
Have a great week
Hugs, Neet 8 xx (noted the flight LOL)
Aw cutey pieces, lovely. Thanks for your visit yesterday BJ#10
Cute cards! I love the little animals. Not sure what else you could do with these cards, though! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #37

Cute whimsical creatures, Kay! Definitely a girl... I can't work well under pressure and prefer to work in my own time! Thank you for your lovely comment and good wishes for my recovery - it's bound to be slow but I'm gradually getting there, with the help of my beloved hubby and our two kitties.
Happy belated WOYWW,

These are both precious, especially that racoon. I don't like to be rushed either, especially when I'm on creative mode. Blessings!
Those stamps are very cute and useful for all sorts of cards. Being rushed is not a good experience in a class Tracy #15
Great water colouring! They look great despite the fact you were being rushed! - hate that so much,
Bernice
So sorry for being so late visiting this week, only just catching up from last week. Your watercolouring is really lovely, despite being rushed - I hate being rushed, not good at speedy arting :o) Hope you're having a wonderful weekend. Annie C #16
