WOYWW 402

Hello everyone.  I'm joining in with Julia for WOYWW.  Go to her blog HERE  to join in the fun or have a good snoop at craft spaces all around the world!  Thank you, Julia, for bringing us all together!

My craft room hasn't seen much progress.  I've unpacked the last three boxes but I'm going to have to rearrange my rug as my bottom drawers on my desk won't open!  That means moving everything out, move the rug, and start organizing.  It's getting close.  I put together my second Ikea cart, this one in a burnt orange.  I lined the shelves and put all my acrylic paints in there.   I have a feeling there must be more lurking somewhere.

I had started working in my planner Super Bowl Sunday.  I finally picked it up again and have been working on it in the living room.  Hey, when you live by yourself ANY room can be a craft room!

I love working in my planner.  I keep it in my bedroom so I can see what's coming up.  So far I'm still in the "decorating" stage.

This is the month of October.  Yep, I'm pretty sure I've chosen a date for retirement.  Friday, October 13, 2017!  The following day I leave for a New England/Canada cruise.  Yep, I think I'm going out with a bang!!!
Sorry it's a little blurry.  I was probably overtkaen with excitement!  I'm meeting my HR Benefits representative next week.  I've met with a CPA and he says it's doable.  I was so relieved to hear that from someone with his background!

Here's a look out the front while I'm sitting in my chair working on my planner.  The yard has been cleaned up and trimmed back.  It took three trips to the dump and there's still stuff to be done!
As always, I will visit those that end in the same number as me and also those that visit me (please leave your number).  It may be the weekend before I get around but I'll do my best.

Peace,
Kay

You've unpacked your last three boxes??? Wow, that's impressive! We've got a whole heap of decorating to do before we put back book cases and unpack the books/bits and pieces that were on them. The days are flying by because there's so much to do but we're having fun. And woohoo to retiring this year - Gordon hasn't looked back since he did the deed last October :-D

Hi Kay, and thanks for the visit & lovely words.I had some lovely ladies in my ward who inspired me when I wasn't sure I was going to be coping too well with this. Just the fact that one had had exactly the same surgery, a few days before me, and was walking & talking just fine showed me it was going to happen, I just had to be patient.
Love the colour of that cart, it's gorgeous. You must be so excited with that wonderful cruise and retirement to look forward to. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #5 XxX

Hi Kay everything looks like it coming along fantastic it's amazing how quickly the garbage piles up when clearing up the yard when we first moved in we had to remove lots too and a big dead tree.
My pencils are kind of divided, most are by colour then one container has my watercolors, chalks, and one set of 72 mixed together that are easy to tote around the house.
I have one of the brushes that hold water in them but I don't mind using the regular type when doing fine details
Love the brunt orange colour looks sharp

Thanks for the sweet comments about squeak to
Hugs Nikki

It would be lovely to meet up, are you far from Los Angeles? Trouble is we don't usually hire a car as my friend has hers and we can use that one, but only for short trips. I cannot see us leaving her without transport. But it would be lovely to meet after all this time especially.
Lovely view from your window and your crafting is great as always. - set aside a couple of days and hit that journal then.

You will not regret your retirement. I retired early from teaching because I had the chance and it's brilliant. I could never have thought about blogging and stuff like that before and now I do that, go to the Gym, walk the dogs, it's just brilliant. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x 17
