WOYWW - Number WHAT? (o.k 182!)

Holy moly guacamole - I absolutely love Wednesdays and have missed the last I-don't-know-how-many weeks because life has gotten in the way.   It's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday hosted by the lovely Julia at  Stamping Ground .  Grab a cup of your favorite   drink and sit back and relax.  You'll get to visit desks from around the globe.

I joined Roni over at Ink Stains yesterday to celebrate her Five Year Anniversary.  She hosted a blog hop featuring Altered Altoid Tins.  It was the first tin that I've altered and I must say, I was tickled pink with how it came out.  See the last post if you'd like to take a look.   You can still join in on the hop if you are interested.  There's prizes to be won!!!

So, this is what's on my desk.  Supplies that need to find a home and little snippets from the tin.  You can see the tecnique I used to make room to craft -- push everything to the sides and back!
As always, I will visit those that end in the same number as me and those that leave a comment (please leave your number).  It may not be until Friday by the time I get around but I promise I will do my best!

Peace,
Kay

You do the same as me - comment on blogs ending in the same number and repay the compliment to anyone else who comments on your blog. I like your way of creating space on your worksurface to craft.

Oh yeh...that's my technique too--push it all back, there's a new project about to land people! It makes me wish sometimes that I had an actual professional studio, and assistants to put things away while I'm working, like they do on some of my Saturday morning PBS craft shows! Well, if I used your method of clearing space then everything would be on the floor as I have nothing to push it up to...the bad thing about having your craft desk in the middle of the room! HA! I loved your altered tin btw, will have to make me one! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Good to see you back, Kay! I had a look at your marvelous altered Altoid tin. As a smoker, I went through a lot of those over the years and DS saved all the tins as a sort of collection. Once he made an outdoor 'windchime' out of a bunch of them, which was too cute, but quickly rusted after one winter of rain. I quit smoking, DS moved on, and the tins all got thrown out before I knew about altering them. It's just as well as I've got enough to keep me busy, but it would have been fun!

You have a great "push to the sides" system; don't forget to add "and pile up!" Have a great week! Happy WOYWWing! Darnell #54

Hi there Kay saw you won an awesome candy there - well done indeed!! love it and do have some of Doone's lovely work form when we met up in UK.
I just read on Janet's blog that you dont know who to resize your photos - here you are:
To reduce your photos under 800 pixels on your Photoshop or wherever you upload to on your computer. I use Window Live Photo gallery, which is a free download and is really great.
... and I just re-size all my photos on that,( by right clicking on photo I want, and choosing resize and making it 800 or less - it is one step action and so very easy peasy )- when looked up my usage had used hardly any - what I understand if they are under 800 then they are accepted - read it on another blog - cant remember where now... hope that helps.
Thanks so much for popping over and thanks for sharing ~ happy WOYWW! Shaz in Oz. x #1

Your tin came out nicely. Love the idea. I have saved tins but also have not done a thing with them...oh take that back, painted on and now it won't shut. I think I used the wrong kind of paint. It does not feel slick to the touch...I sit it down where it still sits today. Must go back and revisit it. Does the paint on yours feel rough?
