WOYWW - Lots of drawing and coloring

It's Wednesday.  I missed last week and actually felt withdrawals.... glad to be here this week! This blog hop is a total blast.  It all starts at Julia's blog Stamping Ground.  This is a great way to visit craft spaces all over the world.  You won't be disappointed.

I just returned from a road trip to Colorado.  It was the perfect break -- lots of knitting and reading.  Add a few naps and it was heaven.  I completed my first set of wristlets.  What do you think?
knitted in the round - love these!
My workdesk is quite orderly - at least for me!  I've started the ATCs for the WOYWW anniversary swap.  If you are interested in swapping please email me at  505whimsygirl@gmail.com with your home address.

A few of you mentioned that my doodly bird would make a cute stamp -- so I've drawn the doodly bird for the swap.  I've been busy coloring them in.  So, mine will be simple but made from the heart.
Please leave your number with your comment.  I try very had to visit everyone that visits me and also those that end in the same number as me.  After that then I randomly select others to peek in on.

Peace,
Kay

I do like your idea of random numbers, I start at the beginning and the end and try to work up from there, but mostly miss those in the middle, not a great way to do it I know. Your birds are sweet. Love the wristlets, they are really popular here in the UK. Happy WOYWW, Anne #18

Ooh! Love the wristlets. I keep telling hubby that I want sleeves (like longer wristlets). They would be perfect for when the air conditioning gets too cold for bare arms and its still too warm for a full on sweater. He probably just rolls his eyes. The ATCs are looking good. I confess to not getting mine together yet. Its on the short list of things to do. Luckily I have the next 5 days off... playtime! If I get sick (what happened the last few times I've days off) someone is going get a whupping. Dunno who yet, but there will be full on violence!

Simplest is so often the best :) I like your ATCs very much! I simply haven't had the time recently to create stuff so that's why I'm doing the giveaway instead! Great knitting btw, lovely colours.

Thank you so much for stopping by. If you do try digital collages, you don't need any fancy programs: I do mine in Word and Pages (on Mac). Nothing fancy about that!

Your bird is gorgeous. And never downplay the joy of simplicity. In art it's a powerful force.

cheers,
rachel

Your doodly bird is awesome! Now, are you a papercrafter who dabbles in knitting or a knitter who dabbles in papercrafting? Or some mystical perfect mixture of the two!? :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog and admiring my bows/sassy embellies...I hope you get a craft room soon. And pegboard, too! :)
