WOYWW - Back to Embossing

Wednesday, again, really?  Time for the biggest blog link up you'll ever come across.  If you don't know what this is all about visit Julia at Stamping Ground.
I am going to visit the blogs that end with the same number that I end with.
Also, those of you that visit me.
There are just so many of you now that I'm trying
to be fair in who I visit, without driving myself
crazy.

I'm still doing my She Art.  Remember the pink canvas on my desk?
 Isn't she too cute!
True Friends
Currently on my desk.  Oh my.
The acrylic paints and Mod Podge are pushed off to the side.
The baby wipes are within reach.
Some fun stamps that I've been embossing.  Paint brushes.

Several people suggested detail embossing powder (thank you!).

What do you think?
Can you see the church?  This is the El Santuario de Chimayo
What could be under this pile of embossing powder?
A Burro - too cute!
Whatever you are doing, no matter where you are, don't forget
to take time to enjoy life.
Peace,
Kay

Thanks for the visit - and I have to say, I like your idea of visiting each person ending w/ the same number. It's just impossible to take the time to visit everyone so I tend to visit the 8-10 right around me, wherever I end up but your way would scatter around more and include some of the later sign ins. Great plan!

Morning Kay, your finished canvas is lovely, I like all the detail in the background, and the Burro, donkey?, is terrific. Isn't it fascinating the different stamps we have in different parts of the world ... your church is very specific to where you are and it has a wonderful name too.

I'm feeling much improved and it is kind of you to ask. I'm so glad you like my photos ... I enjoy sharing them. Have fun with your Cuttlebug - I just took a pile of white card and took it from there, now I'm having fun dreaming up ideas with which to use them.

Wishing you a great WOYWW. Elizabeth x #22

PS: I might just use your method of visiting folks because I just know I'm not going to get to everyone any other way, so thanks for the idea :)

I love your she art. I have done a few of Christy's workshops and I always come back to do her next one because it is so different to what I normally do. Your canvas turned out really nicely.

He is beautiful. I could not wait to see what was under that powder. By the way, the second try did not work so I asked the expert, Barbara Gray herself and she was actually using Perfect Pearls, which have a binder in, rather than the cheap powders I was using. Thank you for your visit. Have a really good week. xx Maggie #8

Lovely canvas, and Stickles is an addition you just have to feed, luckily they're cheap! Great embossing too, love the Burro! Gotta love Michaels, do you get JoAnn coupons too as Michaels take them also if you don't have one near you. I've got a 50% JoAnn coupon in my purse for tomorrow, I want some more Marvy Le Plume markers, I love using them.

It's getting very difficult to get round all the desks, if not impossible. I have tried doing every-other-one in the past and still don't manage them all. Did think about starting at the end and working forward but would probably get lost along the way. Love the Burro and your pink lady.

I realize I am really late getting here, especially since I am #2. But I have had a terrible time keeping my computer running today. Seems it wants to shut down after I visit a single blog.

I like your She Art. It is always fun to see that type of art. I think you are doing a fantastic job with the embossing powder. Happy WOYWW.

Yeah its getting out of hand trying to visit everyone so I am usually trying to keep up with the ones visiting me, then when I finish I go to the ones that are familiar to me from past visits. I did my hand in when I tried to do 200 one week LOL.
That embossing is awesome and yes I can see the church and the horse looks spectacular well done.
Glad I made you laugh with my post and yes I couldnt believe how clear that car came out especially as it was travelling so fast and usually when I take a photo of the tv all I see are lines woohoo to HDMI

I can see the church Kay! Do you have a stamp positioner tool? There's another way...stamp it using the positioner in a light coloured ink. Colour, ash, blah. Use the positioner to stamp on top in a dark pigment and emboss with clear powder.Works a treat with detailed stamps. I had to laugh at your pushed to the side stuff, however tidy, we are all about getting on with it when we're in the groove! LOVE the canvas, she came out perfect!

That donkey is soooo cute. You have some lovely stuff on your desk even if I am a week late! Hope you are ok.
As for that clock, it has been on my desk for months and only this week have people noticed it - shows how much stuff is usually on my desk!! It was a real cheapie and I planned to flower it up but.....you know how it goes ey!
