WOYWW 138

Time flys when you're crafting!
It's Wednesday so that means only one thing.
It's What's On You Workdesk Wednesday.
Visit Julia over at Stamping Ground
You'll see things that will amaze, inspire and fill you with envy!

My workdesk is a bit empty today.  Tomorrow is the first night that a newly formed photography group meets.  I  chose 5 photos that represent what I like to photograph.
Woodpecker, lion, cow, flower, abstract architecture, light hitting table
A secret knitting project
Thanks for stopping by.  No matter where you are, what you do, make time for those things (and people) that you enjoy!

Lovely selection of photos, Kay - hope you enjoy the new club. The yarn you are knitting with looks soft and warm, like the flecks of colour through it. Many thanks for all your kind comments and I hope your week is a good one. Elizabeth x #47

I like photography too. Was the Woodpecker in your garden? I love to see them on the feeders.
Have fun.

Well, that's a random selection of photos, but funnily enough, they work well as a group. Wonder why that is as there's no common theme between them all - apart from the photographer of course! I LOVE the tiles in your previous post - I've got a thing about patterns of all sorts. Yummy :)

Thanks for stopping by to see my workdesk. I hope you enjoy your photograph group.I have a brand new camera that I am just getting to grips with. I also like taking random snaps of tile patterns, tree bark etc. I have made quite a few cutting files from photos of the wrought iron patterns in our village.
I like the yarn you are knitting with too. It looks cosy, what ever it is going to be. Kate x

Hello, sorry I didn't get by last week. Up to the eyeballs in finally selling our flat - yay! Hope you have a lovely time with your photography group. My favourite cow is the Highland Cow of Scotland. I search high and low for them whenever we visit (a couple of times a year usually :)

Lovely piece of knitting there. Fab texture. Nice photos and good luck at your new group. We have had a new crafting group started recently and quite a few people turned up which was good!

Photography is something I have always loved (the lady with the camera)but recently I have had a desire to kick it up a notch and get a "good" camera to enjoy another passion of mine! Nice pictures! Enjoy the group get together!!!! Great knitting too...don't you find it relaxing? Very therapeutic! I've changed the bracelet size, it's actually an 8" bracelet. The balls measure 7" which was my mistake. Your comment led me to check out it's length again - thank you! Please add your name to the bracelet, you never know! Happy WOYWW and I always look forward to hearing from you!

Hey that knitting looks kinda nice (see I am talking like my friends here in CA). Love the stitch that you have used.
Hope we get to see the results of the photo meet - love your choices.
Thanks for commenting on my blog - sorry I am so late but lots of friends keep coming to see me and then tonight I did an English Dinner. Hugs, Neet #6

The glue I used on the atc background was "Helmar Scrap Dots" which gave it quite a rubbery texture. That is probably why the acrylic paint didn't cover all the areas. But I think it made the background quite interesting. thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Love your photos in the previous post. Great color combinations, and light and shadows. I'm starting up a photo class with a great teacher next week. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'd love to take a photography course....or have meet-ups with other photography loving folk. Sigh - so many things to do and so little time to do them all! Looking forward to seeing the results from your group! *smiles* ~Jen

Hi there little Whimsy, thanks so much for popping over, and for sharing. yep love the pickies too but made me wonder why the lion wasn't having a mouth (or is it a chin and neck?) - best avoided it is it? like the flower and woodpecker one and the architecture - textured and interesting like your secret knitting. Happy WOYWW! Shaz in Oz. x #26

Color me silly, but isn't that SIX photos you have their? Your photography is quite excellent. At first glance I wondered why you had postcards on your desk. I'm excited by the secret knitting project. What could it be? A blankie? A sweater? Leg warmers? A scarf? Hat? socks? Mittens for kittens!?!

I love your pictures, and am intrigued by a secret knitting project. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog :) The jars on my desk are actually Ikea spice jars, I like them because they have a nice big mouth I can reach into. Baby jars would be perfect too, and a lot cheaper...if I only someone I knew had a baby!

Happy WOYWW (on Thursday!)

If there are only 5 piccies on the table, why am I seeing 6!!! Must be my eyes after all of that knitting, lol! I discovered there's a yarn shop in my local town that I never knew about, that could be very, very bad!!
