WOYWW 421

Hello everyone!  I'm joining in with Julia at Stamping Ground for another WOYWW (What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday).  People from all over the world share their desks and what they are working on.  To visit others, join in or find out more detail about this go HERE.

I've been crafting a bit.  I've gotten back into jewelry making.  It's been pretty fun.   I've also been playing in my Carpe Diem Planner.  I keep it opened in my bedroom so I can look at it every morning when I start my day.  I have a smaller planner that I will probably start carrying around with me once I'm retired.

My craft room is a major disaster!!  I'm almost embarrassed to show these pictures.  I didn't work in it at all last weekend or so far this week.  I keep telling myself I'll make "major progress" once I'm no longer working.
My desk area isn't that bad, really.  I'm thinking about changing up my desk to face the door instead of the window.  My furnace is right underneath the window so I'm not sure that I like it the way it is now.

Here's a picture of my Christmas Cactus.  I just love the blooms.
I will visit those that end in the same number as me and also those that visit and leave a comment (please leave your number).

Peace,
Kay

I thought the last link didn't look right somehow! You'll get tidy eventually. Happy WOYWW Sarah #28

Hi Kay, too bad that your furnace is right underneath the window. It's nice to have a view, but not to take a risk on having a fire. Maybe you can have a warm weather placement and a cold weather placement. Retirement is getting closer and you will have lots of time for organizing and playing in your craft room. You are going to have a ball!
Keep smiling.
Connie :)

Yeah I have the same problem with my CV being right under my window sil too. But I chose to move my desk to the left and have the window on my right hand side. does have a great effect in space and lighting :) Happy WOYWW from a newbie desker :) xo Cheetarah #36

I had to click on the picture showing your shelves so I could have a closer nosy - I am such a book addict. You have some interesting ones there. I love the cards you have on display too.

Once you start organising you'll be unearthing all sorts of treasures - once I started I was there for days finding stuff I'd forgotten I had :) Trouble is, then you want to stop and play!

Have a good week.

Love your planner. I use one but I don't decorate it much. And don't worry about the "mess", you should see my craft closet! Hope you have a great week!

Oh, you are going to have such a. Lovely time when you are retired and can re-organise to your heart's content! It is already a lovely space but you'll be able to get it just right and probably discover all sorts of treasures whilst doing so :-D

I'm laughing Kay because you'll find yourself busier than ever once you retire. I run our business office from home and if I was organised and did one hour a day I'd be straight and could spend the rest of the day doing whatever I wanted or needed to do.
It doesn't happen as I'm like a butterfly flitting from one thing to another and accomplishing nothing. Someone needs to give me a good talking to haha.
Good luck. If you crack it let me know how

I agree with Lynn, don't kid yourself that you'll have lots of time when you're not working. However, you may feel a bit more like reorganising your craft room when you are at home and you certainly are going to enjoy having more freedom to do what you want to do. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x22x

Hi Kay, I cut the dies 6 layers of fabric at a time in my big shot... these are fabric dies so much deeper than paper ones... I'm sure these can be used on a cattlebug?? too .. Debbie shore has many sewing videos on you tube... just type in Debbie shore for videos she is really good and for me easy to understand... Hugs May x x
