WOYWW 333

Hello everyone!  I know, two weeks in a row!  I'm joining in with Julia over at Stamping Ground.  People from places near and far show their desks and what they are working on.  Julia has a full explanation of WOYWW on her blog HERE.

I haven't accomplished much since last week.  My aunt was visiting from Atlanta so I played tourist guide.  We had never made it to Rancho de Chimayo, a nice restaurant next to the El Santuario de Chimayo.

Anyway, I'm going to show you my messes.  Places where I have craft supplies tucked away, sometimes orderly and sometimes just thrown in!
Messy closet.  Once again things have been thrown in!

I have bookshelves on both sides of my fireplace.  This is the side that I use most often.  There's a corner of my comfy chair where I knit.

The top shelf has nothing that I need.  I made the button bouquet next to the teddy bear.  I have no idea what's in the pink box.

The next shelf I have my owl that my friend Marion knitted for me.  He has real glasses on!  The books are old ones that I've picked up here and there.  Most of them are in a foreign language.  The wicker basket has my candlemaking supplies.

On the next shelf I have my knitting needles in the bright pink vase.  Next to that is a jar with the leftover yarn from my spa cloths.  Oh, some of you asked what spa clothes are -- that's a fancy word for wash cloths!  One of my knitting friends thought that up for me!  In the green and white box I have a supply of yarn.

The next shelf has my knitting books.  Lotion for my hands as the yarn typically dries them out.  My lamp to help me see.  The blue box is empty.  The box below it has my circular needles and notions.

There's my big iced tea and my catch all in the wicker basket on the bottom shelf.  I need to go through that in a major way!

As always, I will visit those that end in the same number as me and also those that visit me (please leave your number).  I have several appointments today but I'm hoping to make it to a few desks.  After that it will more than likely be Friday and Saturday that I'm able to visit.

Peace,
Kay

It's fantastic to see your space Kay and it looks perfect to sit and knit there with everything in arms reach :) Didn't know that knitting dried out your hands so much. But then there is always a bottle or two littered all over my place where ever I sit too so handy not to have to get up and look for it

Hi Kay
Returning your visit earlier to me. Thanks for showing us your corner where you sit and taking us through those shelves. I can now picture you sat there knitting your spa cloths with your cute owl watching what you do. Isn't it surprising what you can fit on those shelves - everything to hand - and books in foreign languages, invaluable for journalling and the such like.
Have a good week.
Hugs, Neet (still no number) xx

It's good to see you have a closet that looks like mine! Sometimes it's neat and sometimes it looks like I opened the door and threw everything inside!

I like the pic of your shelves...a place for everything and everything in its place, as my dear old mum used to say :-) It's a very homely sight - I can just picture you sitting there, getting your crafting supplies down when you need them!!
I hope your knee is now behaving well for you :-)

I love that closet - it's so encouraging! Actually, you look very organised. That owl is really rather cute, isn't he? Oh dear - it all makes my own mess REALLY look messy!!!
Take care. God bless.

Hi Kay, I like your cozy corner . . . it says, "I am a happy creative person".
A home that doesn't reflect the person who lives there, is just a house and not a home. You have a home :)
Have a wonderful weekend.

So nice to see you back on WOYWW Kay, and also to see your lovely space which looks very restful and attractive. I smiled when I read you had no idea what was in your box haha! My problem is that I have boxes that I know what's in them, but I have things that I simply cannot find!

Thank you for your visit and your nice comment. I didn't join in WOYWW this week (nothing on the desk and feeling a bit poorly after the chemo). Feeling worse as I enter week 2 of the cycle, but it will pass. I am so glad you like my bee cards. Once I'm feeling better I shall be making some more for my card factory. Glad you like the colour too - I do love warm gold colours and that's one reason why I especially love this time of year when the leaves are turning.
