Can you believe it! I'm here to share a smile. I'm linking up with Annie at A Stitch In Time.
You
may have wondered where I've been. I've recovered from my knee
surgery and have returned to work. I was also planning to sell my one
bedroom condo so I've been going through "junk" for ages. Not really
making time for my blog or visiting fellow bloggers. I keep thinking
about everyone but haven't jumped back in. Hopefully this will be the
beginnings of a regular thing for me. If I at least participate in
WOYWW on Wednesdays and Friday Smiles I'll be good!
I planted two peony plants in my backyard this year. Isn't this bloom just gorgeous! Such a delicate yet bold flower! Yikes - my mistake. This is NOT a peony!!! Thanks to those that pointed it out in the comments!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Monday is a holiday in the States (Columbus Day) so I'll have an extra day to go through more of my "junk."
Peace,
Kay

Oh wow. What a come back Kay. That bloom is stunning. Glad to hear your knee is now allowing you to keep busy. :-)
Have a great week....and thanks for linking this week.

Hi Kay. That is a gorgeous plant. Love peonies. There are some made out of sugar ( sadly made by my friend to help me out with my nephew's wedding cake - it was a difficult time) on my blog! Good to see you back have been wondering how you were. X

Beautiful flowers, Kay! How is your knee these days? I hope it is healing well. I have M.E. so I understand about your energy issues with Lupus and Fibro - you can imagine what it's like adding chemo fatigue on top! I am nearly there now and then I can concentrate on recovering to the best level I can. Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment. I'm gradually starting to pick up and do more, now I'm in week 3 of this cycle.

Hi Kay, pleased to meet you. Your flower is beautiful. Hope you continue to get strong after your surgery. Have a lovely week. Barbxx
Your flower is so lovely. It looks like some of the hibiscus we have out here, and not at all like an English peony, but it really is so very pretty.
That was fairly brutal knee surgery you had. (I have to look under bandages too!). I do hope it continues to heal well for you. Kate x
glad to hear you are back on your knees again!! That flower is beautiful and I thought it was a hibiscus - but then what do I know about flowers in New Mexico?? Or anywhere come to think of that!
