There's so many things in my life that make me smile. The leaves turning golden, my dog playing with her food like a cat, and one of my obsessions -- yarn. Seeing all the colors available bring the biggest smile to my face. It's sensory overload in so many ways.

I watched this adorable creature get sheared. I love seeing sheep out in the field. They are so amazing and gentle. Don't you love those eyes and that adorable pink nose!

Good morning Kay. I'm a real lover of all the yarn colours too. I have a feeling our sheep wouldn't thank you for a hair cut right now.....it's very cold here now and autumn fast approaches. Thanks for sharing and don't forget to link up so others can see what's making you smile too. 😃

Happy Friday Smiles Kay...oh my I can smile at yarn too...all those lovely colours and textures...sadly I live in the sub tropics and much use for warm garments - I still smile when I walk through the aisles though, and dream. Not sure about the sheep must say they look great grazing in the paddock and must feel quite different with all the weight off when shorn. Hugs for you and enjoy your weekend Robyn
I am a paper and a fabric stroker but I never want to use them. But I love all the different yarns and want to have a go with all of them. I often wonder whether the sheep like being sheared. We have our shaggy-dog done once a year, just as the temperature starts to rise, but she doesn't seem to even notice. The long haired cat, on the other hand, is a much happier creature after her hair cuts. Kate x

Don't worry if you don't post that often, the posts that you do print (because you are out enjoying life and not home in front of the computer) are wonderful. What a lovely post, Kay. Those yarns are mouthwateringly gorgeous. The colours are fabulous, and I can imagine just how beautifully soft and tactile they must be. The sheep is delightful, too! At our local county show this year we were entranced by the alpacas with their whimsical little smiles! Delightful creatures all.

Loved these pictures. The softness & colors of this yarn would have me obsessed, if I were into knitting. Thank goodness I can just enjoy the look and not feel like starting another collection! Enjoyed the sheep pictures too. Bet they feel quite cool once the thick coat is removed. TFS & Hugs
