WOYWW 200

Hello everyone.  I missed visiting desks last week.  Having withdrawals, I decided that I'd join in this week -  it may not be until the weekend before I manage to get around to visit.

The withdrawals are because of Julia.  The brains behind WOYWW (What's On Your Wordesk Wednesday).  Join in the fun over at Stamping Ground.  People from around the globe link up and show their desks and projects they are working on.  It's quite fun and always interesting, not to mention educational!

My desk at the moment is a bit messy - organization takes time if it's done right.  I'm really trying to do it right this time.
This is what I've been working on in the evenings.  Once I've finished I'll write a post with the knitting pattern.  It's super easy - my first "lace" pattern.
I've been thinking about my ATC for the WOYWW anniversary swap.  This will be the Four Year Anniversary.  For all the details go HERE

I will visit those that end in the same number as me and also those that visit me and leave a comment (please leave your number).

Whatever you are up to, wherever you are, enjoy today!

Peace,
Kay

Hi Kay, Great piece of knitting going on there, this is one craft I never got my head around I am afraid, I learnt how to gain stiches and make holes very easily. Thanks for your visit already, have a great day. Hugs Mo x

I love your desk but I would be forever knocking things off one edge or another with a round table... much better I stick to the floor then! Have a great day. Helen, 4

Well done for working with a round table. I had one in the flat we rented while we wee house-hunting out here and it nearly drove me mad. Nice piece of knitted lace you have created. I have a lot of items 'on the go' right now, all for my Knit for Africa project, but it will soon be too hot for me to do any of them. Kate x

Hi there Kay! I was woken up with with a cup of tea and a teacake by my Prince in the end :)

Now that knitting looks beautiful! Do you use bamboo needles or is it my eyesight deceiving me?

Happy WOYWW, hugs, Di xx

Hi Kay, that knitting looks beautiful- I know how to knit, my Mother always knitted, but it's not something I do. I need to get my thinking head on for the Anniversary ATC- first time I've made one, but I've been meaning to give them a go for ages. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #52 xx

Wow, WOYWW is up to 200 - how time flies. I'm not showing my desk today, as it would require cleaning it off to find my camera. You are right that organization takes time, and it seems that unorganizing can be done in a blink of the eye. Good luck on yours.

Organization is a never ending job. I like that lace pattern. #92

Can’t see the point of putting everything away, only to get it all out again Kay, but on the other hand you do need room to work so yes, you really do need to get organised…….more a case of do as I say here and not as I do, Lol.
Loving the knitting, especially the colour.

I’ve made a few ATC’s for the anniversary but it’s difficult to know how many extras to make, just in case anyone else wants to swap too.
Happy Crafting!

The ATC swap was so much fun last year. I don't do WOYWW anymore due to lack of time. I'm taking a class that consumes all my time. I am making a point to be sure to craft. And organize. And so glad to hear you say that to do it right takes time. It is good to know that I'm not just slow. Oh. Maybe I am, but my excuse is that I'm doing it right!

Its so interesting to me to see all the little bits people play with on their desks, left there like they were abandoned but I know they weren't. :) After all, my desk frequently looks that way! lol Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment already, your knitting or crochet lace is very pretty! Love the color and the pattern...too bad I can't follow a pattern for anything! :) Deeyll

Kay, I'm awed by this knitting project! It's so pretty & all the little ridge's sure add a humongous texture. You chose such a lovely, soft color of the wool too. What talent you have! Yee-haw on all the ad views too. It will happen at the right time for you...hang in there. I have missed WOYWW for several weeks. Just haven't the time to do reciprocal visits at the mo. TFS &Hugs

Hey girl, I just love your desk, or workspace...it looks like you are working at it! I have only been doing this for 3 weeks, and I am amazed at all the interesting desks I have seen. So much stash to drool over! Your knitting is awesome, I have never mastered that craft, sewing, drawing, some painting, and now card making. Would love to have you visit, even become a follower if you would like. Hugs, Cathryn
