WOYWW 193 - Hello Birdies

I'd like to welcome my latest follower - Cindy!  Welcome to the Party!!  I know there's lots of blogs out there and the fact that you've chosen to follow mine means the world!  Thank you!!

Oh my.   Another Wednesday has arrived.  Thanks to Julia, this is one of the happiest days to hop around and visit desks from around the world (yes, really).  Go on over to Stamping Ground (if you haven't come from there).   There are usually well over 100 people that join in the fun.

I have a huge canvas on my desk in the very beginnings stage.  The birds aren't glued down yet because I'm just not sure how I'm going to lay them out.  I put tissue paper down on the canvas and painted is a very light off white - not enough color for my blood.  It's not exactly what I want...... stay tuned!
Other things on my desk - my sari silk ribbon, address labels,
my knitted case for my little camera and designer paper

Some of you asked about the shower curtain a few weeks ago.  It's now cut up and that's the plastic that is protecting my table.
Like always, I will do my best to visit those that end in the same number as me and also those of you that visit me (please leave your number).

Peace,
Kay

The canvas looks like fun...I'll have to return to see it complete. I thought when I posted I was 101, but now when I reopened the WOYWW blog it shows I'm #105. I've gotta remember to refresh before I enter.

Welcome back Kay! Hope your trip wasn't too sad.

Great idea for the shower curtain - I'd need to be wrapped head to toe in it before handling paint, sprays and such :)

Happy WOYWW my friend, hugs, Di xx

Oh wow, your canvas project looks delightful! I love it!

Clever to use the shower curtain - I would need to make it into an overall to protect me from paints always manage to get covered in them.

Love the birds and your canvas is going to be great.

That canvas looks as though it is going to be very time consuming. Like Carole, I shall be back to see the completed item. I am tempted to have a go at a canvas as they are on offer at Hobbycraft this week. thank you for your visit this week and kind comments. Hope you have a good week. xx Maggie #8

Hi Kay
Thanks for popping over to my blog - it's always lovely to have new visitors and to pop back. As you said, there are just so many blogs out there, where to start?! But this is a good place and I love the idea of the shower curtain as a table protector. I might look into that myself. I wanted something plain and reasonable, that might just be what I am looking for. I LOVE birds, so will be popping back to see your canvas again.

Hi Kay, I am late, so please forgive me. I have been celbrating my birthday this week and there has been lots going on. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I am liking that case you made. I will have to remember to get me a shower curtain from the dollar store to use when I paint. #83

Catching up on last wk's WOYWW. Was neat to see the start of your bird canvas. Great idea on the shower curtain to protect your craft table. I know you're in 'transit' at the moment, having to pick up fast if you have a prospective buyer. This idea should make a fast cleanup at the last minute. TFSharing your temp workspace & your fab idea. Hugs
