WOYWW - I Missed You All Last Week

Just like the title says - Happy WOYWW and I really missed everyone last week.
If you don't know what WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday) is about you're in for some fun.   It all starts at Julia's blog over at Stamping Ground.   You'll get to visit creative desks all over the world!!

I made a canvas for a friend of mine.  I can't show the finished project yet because it hasn't been given -- but just as soon as it's given I'll post about it.  It's a mixed media piece unlike my She Art girls.  I really enjoyed making it and can't wait to give it!

So, my desk is loaded up with paints, brushes, papers, markers and the little bits and pieces that I used.
Do you see that tin of ribbon?

This is at a yard in Chama - a friend of Alyce's named Siscily.
Look for a post on her garden soon!
And yes, she made the sign!!!

As always, I'll visit people that end in the same number as me.  I will also visit those of you that leave a comment (and your number please).  After that I roam through as many other posts as possible.  But be warned - it may not be until the weekend....

Peace,
Kay

That's a lovely tin of ribbon! How's the heat going there, you staying cool? hanging out at coffee shops? lol poor baby! I'll come visit when it's cooler, meanwhile, your welcome up here! It's warm, but I have AC! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina #50, unless someone removes a link, lol

It is so funny how we manage the visitations of our WOYWW'ers I have decided to visit everyone that visits me and my regulars that I can't cope without, then after that I will visit every 5th person LOL

So love the tin of ribbons and those little canvas's are so cute, that are drying on the paint pots. Love that back bucket tin on the bench just like mine, but I ripped the handle off mine. LOL I think I will have to come back soon to find out the update on the mixed media work.

Hi Kay, yes, you were missed last week! Love your ribbon tin, so neat and tidy and like the colours on your mini canvases on your work station too. Can't believe that you got a gift voucher for your birthday and have not spent it yet - you must have serious willpower - as you can tell I have none where craft goodies are concerned! Thanks for your visit, lovely to see you back. Anne x #9

Such tempting hints about what you've been making! Sure can't wait to see the finished piece! Happy WOYWW! Victoria #87

We missed you too! :)

Love the tin. But it is a bit dependant on having ROLLS of ribbon. I seem to have a load of 13" pieces from kits and things so it would never work. Mine are in zip-lock bags hanging on the back of my door. That works for me!

Happy WOYWW

That ribbon is adorable. Not sure I quite understand the sign, but I know that I know what it means (grin). Happy WOYWW from #6.

Thanks for your visit, Kay - glad you like what I'm doing with the inks. I love how the flowers can be used as masks at the same time as being sprayed! Your desk looks extremely interesting with all the gorgeous ribbons in the tin, and those intriguing squares which are presumably drying on the tins? Very mysterious!!

Ooh, how can you "pair down the ribbon"!!! Sounds like ribbon cruelty to me, lol! At first I thought your mini canvasses were ink sponges! Will come back to see what you do with them!

Love the flying sign, but you know what impresses me most about that photo? The green grass! LOL! It looks very green and soft. We don't have that here unless you pay enormous amounts of money for it. Love the shot of your desk, as always, you can tell that there has been lots of play going on there. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who utilizes post-it notes in crafting!

I feel bad that I made you feel bad about your desk. Your desk isn't messy, not like my desk usually is! I mean, you've got a project on the go and everything else looks very organised. What are you doing with those canvases?

Thanks for showing us Sicilys garden sign and for the post above (see the benefits of being late)of her wonderful garden and home. On the fishing lure picture I love the "Archie" face - reminds me of a ventriloquists doll.

Sorry I'm sooo late, I was sure I'd been!! Well, you look very busy, the ribbon tin caught my eye...if I punched holes in my London bus tin I might be able to do that! ( and keep them in one place) Not sure if I'll be doing woyww this week...might go on timer, but we are away, scattering ashes in Scotland...so anything could happen! Love the sign, reminds me of a bird that stayed in the garden for ages, then one day she just suddenly took off and was gone, never to return, have a fun week
