Things of the Past

I've passed this place and finally  pulled over.
Every time I drive up to Colorado I just whiz on by - but not this time.

This place might be a museum of sorts -- next time I might knock on the door!

Peace,
Kay

Well there is certainly a collection of things here Kay. I wonder why they are there?
I will be in the USA in August - travelling to CA and doing some of the sights including Pirates Cove on the Colorado River and of course Vegas and the Grand Canyon. I know they are still a long way away from you though.
Hope you are well.

WOW I think I have been here! Where is this? I seem to remember coming down from LaMar CO or there abouts into New Mexico but I can't recall for sure. Let me know!

It's right by Embudo, New Mexico. It's between Taos and Santa Fe (before you get to Espanola). It's very cool. I'll have to go in next time!

I am glad you stopped. These old photos are wonderful. Stuff like this takes me to my childhood. We would always vacation and stop at these kinds of places. Love it!!

It looks like a neat place to take a peek around. Did you have a moonpie? WHAT is a moonpie?! LOL! I think traveling would be more fun if you stopped at all the interesting places. However, I came from a drive straight through don't stop for nuthin' family and..... hence, I hate to travel.

I'm too far away to go check it out, but love that you let us all see it and experience it through your stunning photos! Can't believe no one was there to sell you a moonpie - next time!

There is no linky yet at Julia's WOYWW, but I thought I'd swing by and see if you'd done your post. Now I'm off to bed. Have a great week! Darnell
