WOYWW - 355

Hello everyone!  Another happy WednesdayI'm joining in with Julia over at Stamping Ground.  People from places near and far show their desks and what they are working on.  Julia has a full explanation of WOYWW on her blog HERE.

A look at my scarf while taking it off the loom.  Notice the open areas?  The colors of the scarf are true to this photo - the one below was taken in bad lighting but you get the idea.

After felting.  I'm not happy with how it turned out.  I used my washing machine using hot water on a delicate cycle.  Not only did it felt too much, it's also uneven.  Next time I will try the hand felting method.  I might felt it again then cut it up for flowers.  That's an idea - do you have any others?
I'm still in my comfy chair knitting up a storm.  I've been making spa cloths (fancy word for dish/wash cloths).  I'd like to group them in threes.  I love the top one the most.
For your added pleasure - here's a pair of sandals I just bought.  They are completely recycled.  The company is called Re-sole.  I found them on Amazon (like most of my shoes/sandals).

As always, I will do my best to visit those that end in the same number as me and those that visit me (please leave your number).

As far as Windows 10 goes; I went to Starbuck and used free wifi to play around with it.  I'm slowly making progress and have made folders for my photos.  Now I just need to get with it and list some items!  I hate to get the warnings from my wifi provider that I'm almost out of data.... and it doesn't seem like I've used all that much.

Peace,
Kay

I am doing a very quick whistle stop tour of my fav blogs in my lunch break today. It's pretty manic returning the bungalow to a little nearer normality for when our Dutch friends arrive tomorrow so please forgive me that it is such a quick visit.
My suggestion for the scarf is to leave it just as it is....I love it :-)

Hi Kay, Wow! I didn't know that you weaved, too. You're a wiz at so many craft endeavors . . . pretty amazing talent. I've been looking on line at Amazon for new sandals, too . . . I guess it's just that time of the year. Time to air the old feet out, LOL.
Happy Easter!

It looks like a really pretty scarf. I like the colours. Hopefully we won't need scarves much longer this season but more of the sandals. I found a lovely pair last year by Skechers. Their shoes are so comfy - all I can wear since my ankle surgery. Luckily they make all kinds of boots/shoes.

Happy WOYWW

Happy WOYWW. I used to do some hand felting - 3D stuff like animals. A lot of people made tumble drier balls and how about some slippers? I have been using Windows 10 since its launch - and had no issues whatsoever. Internet - we are lucky now and have unlimited data since we had the community wifi installed. I can remember having to go to the library or MacDonalds! Ali x #63

Now those are my sort of sandals!! Especially love the idea that they're completely recycled too - the colour is fab, love them! I can't help you with your felting problem I'm afraid, I know nothing about it, fearing that anything I attempted would just end up in A soggy mound of steaming wool!! Your spa cloths are fab, I know from personal experience 😃💖

Hi Kay nice sandals, what a great company. I used to do some hand felting with my pupils but nothing very serious. Have a great Easter and happy crafting, Angela x 23

too bad for your scarf, but this is an outstanding opportunity presenting itself because you'll turn it into something else. Happy Easter weekend, Vicky #9

Good Morning Kay, I love seeing what you are making with your loom . . . how fun :) Maybe the photo didn't show it as good as you see it in person, but I think it's lovely. I kind of like things that are uneven and unique. Cute shoes, they look extremely comfortable . . . that's the number one thing on my shoe shopping list. Remember the days when it didn't matter if they hurt our feet as long as they looked pretty . . . those days are gone, LOL.
Have a wonderful weekend my friend.

Hello Dear Kay, Have you noticed that a few of your blogging sisters seem more like cousins or next door neighbors? There are some that I have been corresponding with pretty much since my earliest blogging days and these sweet friends have become very special to me. Then they slow down and don’t blog very often. . . That’s fine, it’s more important to get out there and enjoy your life, but it makes me wonder if there is trouble in their lives, or health issues. You are one of these special people.
Just worried about you . . .
Sending my love and prayers,
Connie :)
