Friday Smiles

Hello peeps.  I'm joining in with Annie at A Stitch In Time.  I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and have an even better weekend planned!

I have two things that brought special smiles to my face this week.  The first is that I received a lovely card from Nikki.  Did you know that we share the same birthday?  Not sure about the year - I think she's younger than me.....
Isn't she adorable!  I haven't brought out my Christmas tree yet but she'll be PERFECT next to it.

The second special smile happened Wednesday when I was at Starbucks visiting WOYWW desks.  This group of kids came in and sang a few Christmas carols.  They were very good and so fun to listen to.   If that doesn't get you into the Christmas spirit I don't know what will!
Isn't it funny that most of them are looking in different directions instead of where people were sitting.  I was actually standing to the side so maybe that made them shy as they knew I was taking a photo.  Adorable!

The special day is getting close.  I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful Christmas and a healthy 2016!

Hugs,
Kay

Hi Kay, Your card from Nikki is very pretty. What a cute image that is. A lovely colourful photo of the carol singers. I don't have the best voice but I do enjoy singing carols. Thanks for visiting mine earlier.

Wishing you a very happy Christmas and good health in 2016. Barbxx

I love to hear children singing at any time of the year but especially at Christmas.
Have a great Christmas.
Hugs,
Annie x

Hi Kay, it's lovely to see the kids singing. I suspect the reason they were looking in different directions was because it was a place that was not familiar to them and like most children they are very nosey so they would be trying to look around at the same time as sing. They are naturally curious about new things. Take care, Angela x

Nothing like carols sung by a choir to get you in the Christmas spirit! Merry Christmas!

Awww, these carol singes are really very cute. I just love Christmas and I always celebrate it with high spirits. This year I celebrated it with my family and all close friends at San Francisco venues. It was so much fun.
