I finished my ruffly scarf. I'm very happy with how it turned out. Sorry for the "display." I tied it around my St. Francis statue. I plan to make a few more of these. This was the project in which I had to cast on almost 700 stitches!
Here's a close up of the ruffles.
So, my desk has been my comfy chair. I guess the winter days are made for knitting. This will be a sweater that I plan to take on vacation. I modified the pattern to knit it in the round and the first time I twisted it and created a mobius -- not good for a sweater so I had to rip out four inches of knitting. I've restarted and have checked numerous times to make sure it isn't twisted!
As always I will visit those that visit me (please leave your number) and those that end in the same number as me.
Special thoughts and prayers go out to several WOYWWers who are going through health issues. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I know I've been gone for a few weeks and learned how small it makes my world. I need to make a schedule for myself and keep with it.
I hope you are having a creative and wonderful week!
Peace,
Kay

Don't know what has happened to my "Chrome" but it is playing silly this morning. Came in via Safari and it will allow me to comment (Chrome would not).
Great scarf Kay and I am impressed with the knitting of the sweater - looking forward to seeing progress as it comes.
Happy 300th

This is one gorgeous scarf! Happy WOYWW! Glenda #43
Well done on your ruffly scarf, I'm sat here in my newly knitted top. I will have to admit to not doing the sewing up bit though. A friend did it.

that looks absolutely amazing Kay. (and I groan in my head when I see the stitch count ouch) :) ~Stacy #65
A Möbius jumper?? You wouldn't know if you were coming or going, be inside or outside, if you wore one of those!! Lol.
And I admire you for casting on (and counting!) those 700 stitches. It makes me tired just thinking about it!!
Thank you for all the love and support over the past few years...long may it continue :-)
Hugs, LLJ 7 xx
Hi know just how you feeling - I have been AWOL for ages too ! Just not enough time to visit people ! Love your scarf - so colourful ! When I was quilting we used to call all that unpicking "frog-stitching" as it was rip-it, rip-it, rip-it !! Well you have to laugh or you'd cry, right !! Ali #21
I do! The colors are a perfect match for that design. I cannot imagine casting on 700 stitches. Looking forward to seeing your next project. Diane #39
I got rid of some of my stamps and stamped out a couple sheets of each with four images on it just in case I wanted to use a Die cut around them. But I still haven't used them yet but they are there if I choose to. I would never be offended if you got rid of any that I sent yah lol our tastes are ever changing and playing with new is always fun. We all have some that we could never get rid of mostly ones that can be used in bg edges etc good luck sorting hugs
Your ruffly scarf is fantastic, Kay! It must be a luxury to feel that on!! And next you'll have a lovely sweater! I don't have the chance to play WOYWW any more. I miss it, too, and I just had to come and visit today for the celebration!! Happy 300th WOYWW!! Hugs, Darnell #15
I love that ruffly scarf. Oh my! So much knitting, yarn and time must have gone into it. How nice of St. Francis to sit still and model your scarf for you!
I have a piece of metal lawn art that needs repainting (the desert sun you know). What did you treat yours with before you slapped on more paint?

Wonderful colors for your scarf.

Hi, Kay, I'm just getting around to returning visits from last week. I love your ruffly scarf -- doesn't seem quite like St. Francis's sartorial style -- ha, ha. :-) Good luck with your sweater and happy week. ~ Laura (#69 last week)
