WOYWW 246 - Acrylic Paints

Hi all.  I have no doubt that I'll be in the triple digits this week, linking up at Julia's over at Stamping Ground.  If you aren't familiar with WOYWW then visit Julia; there are links to blogs from all over the world.  These kindly artists share what is on their crafty desks.

I'm a bit late this week as I had some drama yesterday.  No need to share here but it put me in slow motion, to say the least.

I've gotten out some of my acrylic paints and started playing with them.  I have an outdoor metal bird feeder that has gotten faded and am touching up using my paints.  I will do a big reveal once I'm done.
Someone was using their Cuttlebug last week so I thought I'd get out my embossing folders to take a look.  I really like the selection that I have.  I may have a run at trying some different stamping techniques with them.

Also on the desk - mini canvases that I painted while I had my acrylic paints out; some torn ribbon, paper towels and a water spritzer.  I use my old yogurt cups for a variety of things.

As always, I will visit those that end in the same number as me and those that visit me (please leave your number).  This week is going to be a crazy one for me so it may not be until the weekend that I'm able to get around to most of you.  I'll sneak in visits when I can.

Peace,
Kay

Now you've got me worried! Are you ok??
I've been using some of those fat quarters you sent me on today's blog! They were an inspiration for some quilting :-)

I hope the drama is done and over with now! That way you can play with all those wonderful paints and those embossing folders. Other people do such lovely things with their folders. I usually forget they exist. Judy 92

You have a lot of fun stuff on your desk. Can't wait for the big reveal.

You can borrow my tools anytime. But it will be a little difficult getting them out of my cold dead hands. LOL

Hoe the drama was not too horrid!
Looking forward to seeing the makeovers you are doing. I am sure I once posted some bird houses from a trip to Germany that were on sale - they were bright and fab!

And I check my Spam folder often. There is almost always something in there that shouldn't be!

I am loving taking part in the WOYWW each week. I only started this January, so should have loads of inspiration by the end of the year.

I must get my Cuttlebug out.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Sue 50

Love your desk this week, Kay - always nice to see paints out! I would also like to explore different uses for my embossing folders - I have quite a collection now and love what you can do with them.

Thanks for your lovely comment, and yes, I am sure you are right - animals do have a 6th sense of what is needed! When Mum first arrived to live in the annexe in our house, we had a very difficult time till she started to settle in, and lately Beatrice has acted as a good little ambassador, spending time with her and loving her, and this has really helped with all our stress levels! They do seem to know what is needed, don't they. Beatrice was a bit better today, I think, not sleeping the whole day but coming down and being sociable when some friends called in! I think she's on the mend now. It is a huge relief it wasn't malignant. Glad you liked the Zentangle card I made for my hubby! He was very pleased with it.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Wow, I'm impressed that you own Golden products. If only!! And I like the look of that ribbon, which I initially thought was lace. It's beautiful. I look forward to the big reveal of the feeder.

Happy belated WOYWW from #3 and thanks for dropping by earlier in the week.

Yay you were right it is a harp, I love it. Can see you have a nice selection of items out to play with looking forward to seeing the birdfeeder. Nice to see that visiting desks inspires us to use stuff like the Cuttlebug although I don't need any excuse to use mine. Sorry I’m a bit late replying this week, too much Winter Olympics to watch, harp to play and everything, thanks for the visit BJ#77
