Friday Smiles

Hi All.  Today I'm joining in with Annie at A Stitch In Time for Friday Smiles.   My brother sent me a video that one of my cousins put together.  It's of my mom's family - she was the youngest of nine.  There is only one brother left now so when I watched this video it really brought back wonderful family memories.

I took a couple of stills of the video as they really did bring a smile to my face.

This is me with my Grandpa Wilson (my mom's dad).  You can see how old he was when I was just a baby in his arms.  He was an oil man that moved from Oklahoma to California.  Part of a pinky finger was gone and I remember being fascinated.  He pretend to put the tip back on and I would think it was magical.

When I was a bit older he always had M&Ms in his top dresser drawer for me.  I'd sit on his lap and we'd share the bag.  What a special treat for me and now a special memory.  Unfortunately he passed away when I was around four - five.
And this is may be my first nude.  I didn't get any offers from any magazines, but that's okay.

What brought a smile to your face today?

Peace,
Kay

It's a shame you missed your calling. I'm sure Playboy will be calling soon. Yep, I'm smiling (and grinning from ear to ear, too).

LOL! I don't know why the magazines weren't falling all over you to sign you up. What great family memories. I feel sad about all these fractured families these days. I think many kids today miss out on a host of relatives and fond memories like M&Ms in a dresser drawer.
