WOYWW 219!!!

Hello my wonderful WOYWW pals!  It's been so long since I've joined in.  For those of you that aren't familiar with WOYWW it was started by Julia, who hosts this huge blog hop.  To visit all the blogs go to Stamping Ground.   People from all over the world share their desks, in all their glory.

I took the condo off the market so am slowly getting my craft supplies back out where I can see them.  I found that the saying "out of sight, out of mind" definitely applies to me!  I can't believe what I've found so far.
Remember this?  It's a vest that I started knitting and realized that when I bound off some stitches for the second armhole that it didn't line up with the first armhole.  I dug it out of hiding and have been working on it.  I figure I might get it done in time for fall.

Instead of crafting I've been reading, a lot.  I'm on book number eight of a series written by Maggie Sefton.  The books are murder mysteries that take place in a mountain town in Colorado.  They are quick reads and I'm glad that I'm on the last one in this series.

I sit in my backyard to read and get some fresh air.  I enjoy watching the hummingbirds enjoy my honeysuckle and russian sage plants.  I tried to get an "action shot" but couldn't.
Thank you for visiting.  Please leave your number in your comment so I can pay you a visit.  I will also visit those that end in the same number as me.

Peace,
Kay

Welcome back, Kay! I do remember the vest and it's good to see you getting back to it and to crafting!

I LOVE your nonaction shot of the incredible hummer! I seem to mostly get them in action so when I see one just sitting like that, it awes me.

Have a wonderful week! Oh and thanks for the bookie info; sounds right up my alley on the genre! Darnell #19

I have missed you Kay. It's good to connect with you again. I am a big mystery fan, so this might be right up my alley.

I wish I could sit outside to read. Either the mosquitoes get me, the rain drowns me, or the sun bakes me. Things out your way are far nicer, I can see.

Happy WOYWW from #1.

I think it's great to enjoy your time relaxing and when the weather is great, outdoors is where it's at. Time goes so quickly. Thank you so much for stopping by the past few weeks, I just wasn't up to commenting, but starting to be back in the thick of things. Thanks for sharing the great pictures. Enjoy !

Hi Kay, lovely to have you back. When I was over in America I tried and tried to get a picture of a hummingbird and couldn't, I think yours is a real accomplishment.
Hope you get the knitting sorted.

Hi Kay, It is amazing what we find tucked away somewhere in those boxes we hide away from time to time. I have a few of those somewhere around here. Love the picture of the hummingbird, just saw a movie flick on quite a few in action, never seen one before that. Happy crafting and thanks for sharing your space.

Happy WOYWW

Hello there Kay,
I've decided not to show my temporary desk (the kitchen table) again this week, so I'm nipping to see other WOYWWer's desks instead! ;D
I can never seem to draw, photograph, post and visit all within the timescale...well not recently anyway.

I adore sitting reading outside listening and watching the birds. It's good for the soul I'm sure :D

Word has got out that there are new feeders up in my garden.
No hummingbirds here in Scotland (well not as far as I know) but I've had robins, gold-finches, bull-finches, great tits, blue tits and cute tiny wrens to name but a few.
Enjoy you free time which ever way you choose to spend it.
Neesie no number :D

excellent pictures! Love how sharp the humming bird is. I have feeders out but don't seem to have anyone coming by to feed. I can identify with the 'finding' things you didn't know had gone missing! Hope you have a great week. Vickie #107

Welcome back. Hope you get the vest sorted. Thanks for your visit. Socks are very easy once you get the hang of using four needles. I'm told its a mathematical sequence but I just follow the pattern.
Thanks for visiting

Welcome back to the blogs. That is a lovely photo even if it is not an action shot. How wonderful to have humming birds around. By the way, I reckon your fuel is still cheaper than hours. I am dreading filling my fuel tank with diesel next week, but I am looking forward to driving it. Thank you for your visit this week. xx Maggie #116
