Pancakes on the Plaza and Old Cars
Every July 4 the Rotary Club of Santa Fe sponsors Pancakes on the Plaza. It's one of Santa Fe's favorite yearly events. This is the second year in a row that I've gone. Monica and I got to the Plaza around 8:30 a.m. The line for the pancakes was relatively short and it was still a bit on the cool side. The day would turn out to be a scorcher.
Here's some of my favorite photos from the day.
I plan to do another post on the cars. I really enjoyed taking the photos and tried to be a little "artistic." The cars were so shiny I tried not to get a photo of me in the reflection!
Peace,
Kay

Great job Kay, I see no reflections at all...that wouldn't have occurred to me until after when I saw that I'd done it! love the colour of the latte coloured car, how fab!
What great old cars. Yes the drum twinchie is 2"x2" which was why I had to use shrink plastic as the stamp was way too big. BJ
Hi Kay, I love that old Chevy truck. It is beautiful. My Steve is a Rotarian, they do so many charitable things around the world. Three weeks ago we had our annual Foster Kids party. Steve and I were in charge of crafts, of course, LOL. I wish you would have gotten your reflection in one of the photos . . . I really like it when that happens :)

Hi there Kay. This is so strange, I was thinking all about you and our fun in NM on my drive back home from Oxford yesterday - and this morning I just spotted this post!
Memories of Santa Fe came flooding back. Lovely old cars and those pancakes look wonderful.
I do hope you go back for the September Fiesta to take photos - remember that amazing girl singing? Len plays her CD loads, could she hold a note!!!
Hugs, love from us both,
Di xx
It looks like this outing was loads of fun! Love the old cars, they remind me of my youth! Am I old or what?
