WOYWW 205!!

Hello allIt's another WOYWW (What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday).   WOYWW is the brainchild of Julia at Stamping Ground.  It's an amazing gathering of creative people from all over the world.  Who knows, you may want to join in the fun!

I've been a bit MIA -- trying to figure out some things.  Not sure exactly which direction to go  -- not only in life but with my crafting.

I've been knitting - my favorite evening past time.  On my needles is a purse using 100% wool, along with some ribbon yarn.  It'll be interesting to see how it looks once it's felted.   For those of you that don't know, felting is the process of washing the finished knitted item in hot water, throwing it in the dryer, causing the yarn to shrink.  It becomes almost like a fabric.
Also on my desk is happy mail from Nikki.  You can visit her at Graphix and Designs.  I love my adorable little card and the ATC.  The envelope was full of goodies!  Thank you Nikki!!
I will try to visit everyone that ends in the same number as me and those that visit me and leave a comment (please leave your number).  It probably won't be until Saturday that I'm able to get around.

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, have fun!
Peace,
Kay

Hya Kay - am really looking forward to seeing the felting process completed. I never thought of knitting and then felting, only of using old knitted stuff.

Your building pictures are great. I took a memorable trip through your part of the country one winter on all the backgrounds and fell in love. I certainly understand the attraction of New Mexico...the hills around Santa Fe were beautiful.
Pretty yarn colors...seems to be a thme this week. Just saw someone else crochetting. Just another excuse to use color I think!
Have a great week.

I can't seem to get my ducks lined up for anything. It seems I'm always a day late and a dollar short for everything lately. I have good intentions but am never able to play along anymore. I must get my head back on straight cause I miss this Wednesday fun!

Cards are lovely and that blue in the wool looks really striking! Om my lte rtrip over the pond to the USA, I only found really flimsy mags, more paper ones than the glossy type we get, but you do have many more big (and cheaper)crafty stores!I'm REALLY late with my WOYWW rounds this week, but I have been busy doing non-crafty things! Happy Late WOYWW!!

Hello Kay, I love the yarn that you are using. It is a beautiful combination of color and textures. It is also two of my favorite colors. You do so many interesting things . . . in crafting and in life . . . I love your road trip adventures, too.
I am glad that I stopped by to visit. I always feel so comfortable and at home, here in your space.
You are a dear blogging friend.
Have a wonderful week.

Yay Kay I made it ;D
It's great to catch up and see what you've been up to lately. I used to love to knit but I really don't think I could do any actual thing...except a scarf perhaps.
Thanks for explaining the felting process because although I've seen other crafters felting creations I didn't really know how they produced them.
What great pressies too.
Have a fun packed week and enjoy whatever comes your way :D
Happy WOYWW...woo it's been so long since I typed that!

Hi Kay, I'm trying to catch up on blog visits, so popped over for a quick check on you. Your colors in this knitted purse are so summery...something cool to drink maybe? I'm in awe that you can knit! I love the texture of yarn, but can do nothing with it! Can't wait to see this when you finish it. Lucky you to get some gift goodies too. Hugs
