Mixed Media Canvas Fun
Happy Sunday! It's so nice today that I'm actually wearing sandals! Oh, my toes are so happy!!!
This is my latest canvas. It measures 8 x 10 (inches, that is) and I love it. Painting the sun really got me in the mood for warm weather.
After I took this photo I added dots to the four corners. The two birds are cut from Starbucks coffee cup wraps. I love the varigated texture that they add. The grass area is strips of different patterned green paper. The white dots are made using bubble wrap. All paints are acrylic. I also used a black sharpie for outlining.

So pretty. Great idea to recycle & paint the S/Bucks holders. I'll have to remember that. This is SO cheery, I can well see why you were thinking 'spring'. Not been that hot in SC as yet. We did have some pretty sun, but with a nippy, biting wind. Rain today, from the storm up in the northern plains I guess. I can deal with rain, better than SNOW! TFS & Hugs
