WOYWW 198

Good day to you all! I'd like to welcome my latest follower, Sarah Evans.  Welcome to the group!  Thank you for joining the party!!!

Here it is Wednesday once again.  The day we all stop to visit desks from around the world, courtesy of our host Julia at Stamping Ground.  Be warned, it's slightly addicting.  All kinds of artists participate so it makes for some interesting desks!

Do you see something wrong with the vest that I'm knitting?!?  It's not that obvious in the photo, but just imagine my distress!
Oh no!
This vest is knitted sideways; the hole you see there is the first armhole.  I got to the point of binding off some stitches for the second armhole and wouldn't you know it -- they are at the wrong end of the vest.....  So, I'm going to have to backtrack and undo my bind offs.  This will be a new experience for me!  Wish me luck...
I took a class at the new craft store in town.  This was based on something that was done at CHA.  It's a monthly book full of fun tags, etc.  We put the book together and then did the month of January.

As always, I will do my best to visit those that visit me (please leave your number) and end in the same number as me.   It may be the weekend before I get around.

What have you been up to lately?

Peace,
Kay

  2. Wow, Kay the book looks great!

For all the knitting I've ever done (a lot!) about half of it has been unpicking!

    Have a good week.

  3. I feel your pain. Knitting can be so frustrating sometimes.

I love the little book. I just picked up the same papers last week at my LSS. I haven't even taken them out of the bag.

  15. Aww, what a shame about your knitting Kay, it’s frustrating when you have to unpick it but you’ll be just fine, honest. Loving the wool you’re using.
How lovely to have a new craft shop close by. The one I used to go to closed down so now there’s nowhere near here to go to classes. Sounds like you enjoyed yours thought and that little tag book looks fantastic.

    Happy Crafting!

I am def a stampaholic and have major stampitis. I need to stop finding new stamps and wanting them ALL! lol hope you are having a wonderful WOYWW and thanks for visiting my blog :)
