Aspen Trees

I just love Aspen Trees.  This little grove caught my eye, and my imagination.  Can you see anything in the bark patterns?

This reminds me of Bev Doolittle.  Her art is amazing.  One of her pieces is of a man on a horse in an aspen grove.  In the aspen grove are hidden images.   It is entitled Sacred Ground.  How many things do you see?

I hope you all had a magical Christmas.

Peace,
Kay

  5. Hi, Kay, that is a great photo of the aspen trees, they are so beautiful... we have birches here, they are pretty, too, but not as striking as the aspen groves. I remember seeing some out west, and the branches made a beautiful sound when the wind blew. That arwork is amazing up close, isn't it?

  9. Fabulous photo. These trees look like the white birch trees we see in New England. The images made me think of the ink blot tests I've taken. I saw some bats, one image made me think of the End of the Trail sculpture...wish I could take photos this amazing! Your condo is lovely too. Expect it will go pretty fast. Hope so, anyway. Hope your Christmas was wonderful. Hugs

  11. What beautiful photos you've taken. Is this near you? We don't do trees like that in these parts, or that white stuff if we can help it. Love the up close of the mottled bark. You do see stuff in it and I think a lot of the stuff is looking back at us. Gorgeous!
