Last year I went to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. This little baby elephant was born 3-4 days before our visit. What a little cutie! If you go to their site they have a live elephant cam - how cool is that!
Now, I don't know about you, but playing in the mud reminds me of great childhood memories!

We both adore elephants - come with us to Thailand on our frequent trips sometime Kay and you will get real close to know and love them as much as we do, although I think you do absolutely already love these gentle creatures - just beautiful :) Thanks for showing and reminding me how much we miss them. ReplyDeleteAwesome photos of the baby and momma! When I was young I had the opportunity to get upclose and personal with a baby elephant and it scared me half to death. I evidently smelled like someone he knew and he head butted me then chased me around while I was trying to get away from him! OMG! I was probably on 4-5 and it made and impression for sure.
