WOYWW - Neocolor II crayons and fun stuff in the mail!

Hello everyone.  It's Wednesday and that means it's one of my most
exciting days to surf blogs.
If you don't know what I'm talking about go on over to
where it all begins, thanks to our leader,
the fabulous and amazing Julia!

Here's what I've been up to
using my neocolor II crayons for the first time!
I'm taking an e-course on sketching and art journaling.
These are supposed to be cupcakes.....
the first one looks like a
mug of beer to me!
Love the banner
I also had a nice little package waiting for me from Vickie over at
Okienurse Paper and Ink Therapy.
This is what I won!  I can see some fun in my future!!
Thank you Vickie!  I am so excited about everything you sent.
 I especially love the card.
Love that embossed King of Clubs!!
And guess what else was in my mail?
I love your writing Julia!
Can't wait to show this button off!!!
Thanks for visiting!  I found that visiting the blogs that end
in the same number as me worked out quite well.
I also try to visit everyone that visits me!

Peace,
Kay

  2. At first I was having a terrible time leaving comments on blogs tonight. They didn't want to post. NOW I get "service unavailable for at least two times I try to visit. I'm geting really frustrated.

I've never used neocolors, so they are new to me. Happy WOYWW from # 7.

  15. I must be missing something...I didn't see a beer mug and had to go back and look again! OMG! Brain freeze! Glad you liked your prize. I got my badge too and I think we should wear them to all crafting events just to see if anyone recognizes what they are...speaking of that I am going to go put it on my apron right now. Hope you have a great week Kay and thanks for sharing! Vickie #48

  27. Love your "beer mug", you must have been thirsty when you drew the cup cake. I think they are lovely. Is it hard to do a course online, I've never been game to try one.
How lucky are you, getting that lovely prize from Vickie. Even luckier, you have THE BADGE!! Okay, so I am going a little green right now :)
    Have a gret week.

  28. snap - aren't those pin badges fun?

I have visions of people all over the world running into each others loving woywering arms!

it only looks like a beer mug because the base of the cake is long...put a piece of paper over it covering one third of the bottom of the beer mug and it will transmogrify into a cup cake...really trust me...

Hey I'm glad you're loving the Neocolours, I have another make and I have to say they really help me feel like I can do the whole colour thing! 56. I'm playing a bit of catch up today after my busy day with my munchkins yesterday. Thanks for calling in on me and for your lovely comments. When I had my knee done my consultant told me I wouldn't be able to kneel on it ever again [and he wasn't wrong!]. He also told me that I would be able to ride a bike after but laughed when I said "that's brilliant cos I couldn't ride one before!" I wouldn't be without my new knee now though and we find ways round the things we can't do don't we? [like getting a much older sister to grovel at our feet eh?] :-)

Those crayons look great. I love my water colour crayons, and even take some on holiday. Thank you for your visit this week and your lovely comments about our new stamp. have a good week. xx Maggie #5
